What is the business and what do they do? 

Penny Locaso, Head Happiness Hacker is a transformation coach, international speaker, published author, budding psychologist & trauma therapist, on a mission to teach 10 million women, how to flourish.

Penny works with business leaders and entrepreneurs.

Hacking Happy is about evidence-backed coaching, tools, and impact to help women become sought-after experts while also flourishing.

Penny offers a range of services including 1:1 and group coaching as well as workshops and resources.

When did they engage in Content Queen Mariah’s Services? 

2021 was when we first started working with Penny and Hacking Happy. Penny knew she needed some more support with her content. Not just because it was time consuming but also because she wanted to ensure everything made sense to her overall business plan. Penny also wanted to be intentional with the time she spent on social media and didn’t want to spend time keeping up with the latest social media trends. She wanted to focus on her impact.

What challenges was Penny facing when they started working with Content Queen Mariah? 

Penny was looking to get help with her content scheduling and planning. She wanted someone who was able to help with content tasks as well as give ideas and current content marketing advice.

What has the journey been like working with Content Queen Mariah? 

When we started working with Penny she already had a content strategy that aligned well to the Content Queen way of delivering content (see below). 

The main channel of Penny is a podcast and within the podcast, the main topic for the week/two weeks is introduced. 

Throughout LinkedIn and Instagram, we share content to inspire, educate, sell, and connect. 

With a combination of personal stories, experiences, opinions, and expertise, case studies and scientific research put together by Penny that backs her main theme. This is also replicated through blog content (a resource is often shared or created that compliments that theme).

We also have marketing campaigns every 6-8 weeks on a specific pain point or transformation. Penny's creative ideas are used to craft messages through engaging content that connects with the audience. 

These overall themes are connected to the sales strategy of Penny.

What did we do?

At Content Queen we help pull together the written words of Penny to create social media content (along with Reels and social media graphics). 

We schedule and execute the content across Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook as well as craft a blog. We also assist Penny with any strategic marketing plans and give advice and suggestions to fit the goals of Penny and Hacking Happy. 

And help along the process of marketing campaign execution.

With the extra time, Penny is able to spend time with her family, do things she loves, and go on trips to places like Mexico, Thailand, and Queensland. She has also been able to develop new programs and offerings like Retreats and community groups. Penny has great harmony between her work and life and is also studying full-time at the time of writing this. Penny is focused on expanding her impact and is always doing extra studies and research to back up her work and impact.

Letters to Balance

Letters to Balance: we worked with Penny to film her 2023 marketing campaign “Letters to Balance”. This was filmed with three of her clients. The exercise was about recording a letter to balance as if it were an old friend. 

We filmed and edited the videos based on the brief and vision of Penny.
